Springtime Awakens

Welcome to my Art Store and Portfolio!

I am a Canadian Artist, active in the local art community of Brighton, Ontario. As a landscape artist and teacher, I enjoy inspiring others to notice the beauty in nature and how it invites to rest and reflect. There is a peacefulness about my paintings that refreshes.  I am passionate about capturing on canvas what I see and I use my own photographs for inspiration.

I welcome commissioned works and invite you to take a look through my portfolio for inspiration.  Please email any requests or complete the form below.

I also enjoy teaching art fundamentals to both children and adults in my home studio. You can find all the information under “Book an Art Course!" or "Book an Art Class!" in the menu bar.  Please email me to schedule a Paint Class, course, or birthday party or complete one of the Inquiry forms.

Art Statement

ART STATEMENT

grey paint splash.png

Art is a creative depiction of

sight, emotion, or interpretation.

A painting can tell a story that draws people

        into a visual dialogue.

In a busy and fast-paced world,

it is important to pause and notice even the smallest details of nature and beauty around you.

Artful images can draw us toward a more meditative solitude of wonder and awareness. Maybe even to ponder some of the deeper truths that lie within the view. A good antidote to a hurried lifestyle.

Creative expression is a very important part of who we are          and what we believe/value about ourselves, the world, and the One who made it all.
